Dr. Adwok has been a practicing surgeon for over 20 years. He was a tutor and lecturer in clinical surgery at the University of Nairobi until voluntary retirement in September, 2011 to pursue full time private surgical practice. He holds an MBBS degree from the University of Khartoum, MMed (Surg.) from the University of Nairobi and a PhD in Health Care Administration from Capella University, Minnesota, USA. He trained as an Endocrine Surgeon at the University of Düsseldorf, Germany.
He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, fellow of the American college of Surgeons, International College of Surgeons, International Surgical Society, a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, fellow of the College of Surgeons of East, Central, and Southern Africa, as well as a Member of the International Association of Endocrine Surgeons and Royal Society of Medicine.
